Ángeles' de sonrisa y melena resplandeciente desfilaron el miércoles por la noche en lencería fina para el primer evento parisino de la marca estadounidense Victoria's Secret, en presencia de estrellas como Stromae, Lenni Kravitz, Vincent Cassel o Inès de la Fressange.
En el famoso Grand Palais y en una atmósfera de halos violetas, las top models más famosas del momento - Gigi Hadid y su hermana Bella, Kendall Jenner, Adriana Lima, Lily Aldridge y Alessandra Ambrosio desfilaron en 'push up', ligueros y botas hasta el muslo ante un público selecto.
El desfile, que será transmitido en televisión el 5 de diciembre en 190 países, atrae generalmente hasta a un millón de telespectadores; el interés es el mismo que desde el año de su creación, 1995.
La receta de Victoria's Secret parece simple: contratar a las modelos más célebres del momento (la brasileña Gisele Bundchen fue insignia de la marca ), enfundarlas en lencería sexy y hacerlas desfilar en un escenario efectista acompañadas de un show musical en directo a cargo de estrellas de la música.
Así, este año la banda sonora corrió a cargo de Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars y The Weeknd, frente a Rihanna o Taylor Swift en años precedentes.
Uno de los momentos culminantes ha sido la aparición del "fantasy bra", un modelo único de sostén cubierto de esmeraldas y diamantes que se encargó de mostrar la modelo Jasmine Tookes. El precio, eso sí, no es exactamente asequible: tres millones de dólares, para quienes se hayan cansado del algodón o el encaje.
Rompiendo con los usos y costumbres del mundo de la moda, las modelos desfilaron sonriendo y portando alas para merecer el apodo de 'ángeles'.
Antes del show, no dudaron en mostrar los preparativos del desfile - casting, ensayos y entrenamiento deportivo - y para algunas, paseos por París incluidos aprovechando el viaje de trabajo.
Es la tercera vez desde la creación de este evento que la marca cruza el Atlántico, aunque las dos primeras veces el desfile se celebró en Londres.
Al elegir la capital de la moda, el grupo podría estar mostrando su deseo de expandirse, según los especialistas. Actualmente, está presente en Francia únicamente a través de una pequeña boutique en un aeropuerto parisino. En Estados Unidos, Victoria's Secret es el número uno del sector y cuenta con cerca de un millar de tiendas.
