Un potente sismo sacudió este viernes Ciudad de México revivió temores y provocó angustia entre sus habitantes, a poco menos de cinco meses de que otro terremoto causara cerca de 400 muertos además de graves daños en cientos de edificios.
"Se continúa realizando el protocolo de revisión. Al momento no se reportan daños", indicó en Twitter el departamento de Protección Civil.

El Instituto Geológico de Estados Unidos (USGS) y el Servicio Sismológico Nacional situaron la magnitud del movimiento telúrico en 7,2 con epicentro a 11 km de Pinotepa de Don Luis, en el estado de Oaxaca, en el suroeste de México.
Por la magnitud, se instaló el Comité Nacional de Emergencias para hacer una revisión minuciosa de eventuales daños, tuiteó por su parte el presidente Enrique Peña Nieto.
"Hasta este momento no se tiene reporte de pérdidas humanas o de personas lesionadas", dijo el vocero de la presidencia Eduardo Sánchez a la cadena local Televisa.

Cientos de personas abandonaron edificios y se ubicaron en explanadas o en medio de las avenidas de la zona céntrica de la capital para guarecerse, según testigos de AFP.
"Salimos corriendo, es lo único que podemos hacer", dijo con los ojos llenos de lágrimas Kevin Valladolid, de 38 años, quien reside en el barrio Roma, uno de los más afectados por el sismo del pasado 19 de septiembre, tanto por número de derrumbes registrados como por los daños estructurales en edificios.
"La verdad es que estamos ya bastante alterados. Con cualquier sonido de alarma lloramos, estamos muy estresados, vivimos un flash back", agregó Kevin.
Otro de los videos difundidos en redes sociales durante el temblor:
- "Terriblemente fuerte" -
Parada en medio de una avenida de la colonia Roma y sin quitar la vista de su departamento ubicado en un quinto piso, Graciela Escalante, de 72 años, apenas podía hablar.
"Estuvo terriblemente fuerte. Apenas si pudimos bajar, fueron las escaleras más largas del mundo, pero pudimos salir antes de que la tierra se empezara a sacudir... creímos que se caería todo otra vez", dijo sin soltar la mano de su hija.
El portal de noticias Animal Político difundió un video de un habitante del barrio Condesa que aseguró que se cayó la fachada de un edificio. En las imágenes se observa polvo y gente corriendo.
Sánchez, de presidencia confirmó el derrumbe en ese barrio.
Tras la alerta sísmica se activaron todos los protocolos y se estableció comunicación con los Estados en los que se sintió el sismo, indicó el ministro de Gobernación (Interior) a través de su cuenta de Twitter.
Un sismo de magnitud 8,2 se registró el 7 de septiembre pasado, dejando un centenar de muertos en Oaxaca y Chiapas además de pueblos enteros devastados.
La profesora Gabriela Tomasi, de la Universidad del Servicio Público de Budapest, habló acerca de los cambios a nivel internacional que tendrá el nuevo gobierno.
